We have a winner…

After another great sporting year, Boyle GAA’s Know Your Sport competition has drawn to a close. And there’s good news for long time leader Henri Clifford who has held on to claim the top prize of €500 with a winning score of 87. Next up is another club member Ray Hannon, with a score of 84, Ray claims the €200 second prize, and in third place two further points behind is Peter Keane of Ballinameen. Congratulations to the three winners and a big thank you to all of you who took part in the competition.

We hope to launch another Know Your Sport Competition in Spring 2016 so watch out for that.

Its going down to the wire

With just one event left, its still all to play for in Boyle GAA’s Know Your Sport competition. Long time leader Henri Clifford and Ray Hannon both chose Clann na Gael for the Roscommon Senior Championship to put them slightly ahead of the chasing pack.

So its down to the wire, the destination of the Webb Ellis Cup on Saturday 31 October will now decide who takes away the top prizes. We’ll be back with a final table at the end of the month, and for those of you who aren’t in the money this time, don’t worry, Know Your Sport 2016 is only a few months away
